Australia is a fantastic place to both live and visit. However with tough border security and customs ensure that you have all the required documents and are able to gain entry into Australia upon arrival, to make sure your stay is smooth and uninterrupted right from the beginning.
There are different documents for different people entering Australia. For Australia citizens re-entering Australia all that is required is your Australian passport and a completed and signed Incoming Passenger Card.
For citizens of New Zealand you will need your Special Category Visa which is given under the circumstances that you have your valid passport, and a completed and signed Incoming Passenger Card, including your health and character declaration.
For all other travellers you will need a valid passport, a valid visa, and a completed and signed incoming passenger card including health and character declaration.
For foreign military personnel, meaning member of the Armed Forces you will need Military Identity Documentation, Movement Orders, a completed and signed Incoming Passenger Card.
For civilian employees of specific armed forces you will need a valid passport, status certificate card and a completed and signed Incoming Passenger Card. As a Spouse or Dependant you will also need the above documentation.
If you do not have the required documents you will not be granted entrance
to Australia.
